Reading So Far

I think that blogging here instead of sending out a mass e-mail might be better! :) I hadn't finished updating this before I left and I have a few minutes to do so now!

Things are looking up. I'm making friends with some people on the hall and others I eat with at lunch. I went into town yesterday with a friend who showed me around. It was nice not getting lost. Today I have to trek across campus to get more signatures so I can start class and I'm hoping I don't get too lost! I haven't started classes yet due to the fact I have to get each department that I am taking classes from to sign off on the modules that I have chosen. Then I have to turn that into study abroad and then get my timetable (class schedule). So hopefully tomorrow I will start class if I have any. I'll be glad when classes start. Until then I'm kind of in a loop hole of nothing much to do. The friends I do have all have classes, so I'm pretty much wandering around by myself.

Classes here are fairly different. There are about 200 students in a class and class usually only meets for an hour once or twice a week. Some classes have seminars which are just a break down of the class into 15 people in a group. I know my philosophy class is like that. I don't know about my psychology ones yet. I have to go their signatures today after lunch when the department is available.

I'm still having a hard time adjusting to the time. Right now I really want to go back to bed because its 4 a.m. on the east coast and 9 a.m. here but I know if I do that it will just screw me up even more! I hope all is doing well for my readers! Today is a high of 46 with a chance of rain. It rained yesterday but wasn't too bad. The rain here is very different. More like sprinkling, that's a better term for it!

Tonight I have to a fire talk and then I'm going to try to make it small groups tonight for our building. Things should be interesting today!! :)
