Ready for Change!

Get Ready.... Set.... Go!

I've been talking about all this change I want to do, and I have started a lot of it but to be honest I haven't started ALL of it. One area I'm personally starting this week, or I should say today (it is 1 am after all), is taking care of myself better. Due to lack of time (grateful for having a job, but hate how much time it takes away) and lack of transportation (don't even get me started) I can't go to the gym (thanks the tank who has the weirdest hours EVER! WTF, JU!?) and by the time I get home from rush hour traffic and after working 8+ hours, do you think I want to do anything? Nope... I don't... but last week I decided that I'm going to start working out. I tried to convince the family (and by family I mean dad, sarah and I) that after work we should go the gym and then come home and eat dinner.. yeah that didn't happen LOL :) But then I got a really good deal on P90X for like $65 bucks, and I got it. It's going to kick my butt, yeah I know it will. It's going to hurt like hell (why do we say that, does hell really hurt? Don't even go there...) and it's going to be uber hard (like my german there?) but I'm going to do it. It's just 1 hour a day, I can do it before I go to work so when I come home at 6 I can literally eat dinner get in my pajamas and go to bed! Plus.. it works right into my class schedule and during the year I can always go to the tank when I'm not at work or class or making some other excuse LOL (wow, do I know myself or what?!).

No word on when Mom is coming home... to be honest it has to be different. Dad is complaining about everything to us, and yet he does nothing about it. They're a match made in heaven. Although today I saw a hint of hope when him and I were washing my pots and pans (yes, MY pots and pans) that I let them use. They started a hope chest for me when I very young and have given me plenty opportunities to add to it. My pots and pans being one of them. But back to the story (LOL) we were washing the pots and pan and I was talking about I want to get new ones (I know, I know...) and the new plates that I liked at Bed Bath and Beyond (well I don't like those anymore I found new ones.. links at the bottom if I remember to add them!) and we start talking about weddings. On Friday I went to BB&B because I had a coupon and I wanted to get some storage but I didn't find anything I liked or really they didn't have anything in blue (LOL) but anyways.. I'm telling this to Karen (a co-worker) and how I need to get plates (because I do!) for my hope chest and that my desire is to have a majority of everything I need for when I get married so I don't have to worry about much. I'm telling this to my dad while we're doing the dishes and him, Sarah (my sis, my real sis I mean) and I start talking about weddings how expensive they are. And my dad says something completely revealing. He says, why do you think I'm trying to get out of debt? So I can pay for y'alls weddings. My jaw about dropped. The man who won't buy me a car, pay my tuition, heck loan me 20 bucks and yet needs me to help make ends meet at times, bridge the gaps and emotionally and physically and somewhat spiritually run this family will pay for my wedding! WOW! Crazy!! Where did this come from?? Although I will admit, it is one less burden to worry about it. Not that I'm ever going to get married... because let's face it... I'm not :) But if I were, my daddy is paying for it :) Hmm.. here are those links (I remembered, only because I proofread what I wrote LOL)

All I gotta do is what for them to go on sale, use my 20% coupon and viola, they are mine! But I still gotta figure out which ones I like the most.. and I'm personally going to have to go see them in person... what do you think? which ones would you like if you came to my dinner party??

Ok it's almost 2am EST, and I have no clue why I'm up... so I'm off to bed :) Gainseville tomorrow! Life is good... for the moment <3
